Well, look who I found frolicking in the Eye Spy office:

They were reading the paper and catching up on their Sunday Styles when I found them.

Yes, the Kaenon's are rocking the fab look. Big and delicious. Their shapes make you feel like a movie star when you wear them. I should know, when I tried on a pair (or eight) about 14 paparazzi ran into the store and started taking my picture. Wild I tell you, wild.

Anne et Valentin Representative in-store Tuesday, June 25!

Yes! Almost all of the Anne et Valentin Frames will be in one place, at one time! Weeee!


You see, every now and then, the regional representative for Anne et Valentin stops by the store to show The Queen of Specs new frames so she can choose the frames that will be just right for our Eye Spy Family. On Tuesday, June 24th, the representative will be in the store at around 2pm.


I think the days that the reps stop by the store are some of my favorite days of the year. It goes something like this: My birthday, Halloween, and Reps in the Store Days.

The A et V representative brings with her cases and cases of frames. Beautiful, shiny, and new. A garden of whimsy. A funky brigade. A colorful frame-tastic revolution! Can you handle it?!

testing, testing, 1, 2, weeeee

well, i have finally begun my very own blog. i always thought, "who would want to read what is going on at eye spy?" it isn't all that exciting over here in my little 500 square foot shop....although we did have a sunglass trunk show today with the reps from Maui Jim, IC!Berlin and Lafont....seen above in the pix! we had a living room set-up outside the store, and a 91 year old lady (sans teeth) stopped to chat with me as she enjoyed some of our delectables that i had sitting on the end-table. we had fun hanging out with our customers and reps...and throwing down some mai tais and beer that we had on hand for our customers...who, by the way, did not drink a single alcoholic bevvy!! lots of people popped in to check out the goods...including a two week old little girl (she was sleeping, but dreaming about buying a pair of maui jim's for her daddy, i'm sure!), two puppies, and an inquisitive 8 year old named Ruby:-) we have plenty of leftover nuts....but that goes without saying!
