Ahh, so many weeks we've chosen one or more lovely customers to spotlight here.... we've just been reminiscing and we've decided that, this week, we're going to say THANK YOU to all of our previous choices for CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK!

These lovely faces show how great it is to take a chance on a RED frame or a BLUE frame! They represent the whimsical side of Anne et Valentin frames, the fantastic structure of ic! berlin frames, and the intriguing angles of Theo frames. These faces are what make Francis Klein glasses sparkle, they are what make Frost frames come alive and they show why Lafont is a good and reliable friend when it comes to quality eyewear. These customers have helped us welcome Grotesque and Claire Goldsmith to Eye Spy, they've modeled our eyewear in advertisements on postcards, in magazines, and even on El platforms!

This is Billy's first pair of glasses and, wow, do they look cool! The best part about these Swissflex Kids frames is that Billy could choose the color and shape of the frame, it was like he was designing his own frame from scratch! That's why so many kids love Swissflex frames!

Don came to our ic! berlin trunk show in November. After trying on some awesome frames, he decided to trust the professional opinion (and years of experience) of Serina and chose this Terrific ic! berlin frame... in BLUE!


ic! berlin, just started making frames in this color and Don was right there, ready to be one of the first to start wearing this incredible new color!

CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK!

WHOO! It's that time again! What time? Time to crown a new CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK!

This week, we chose DAVID THOMPSON!

David already had two frames from Eye Spy when he stopped in to check out some new styles. Lucky for him we had a gaggle of Theo Frames in the store and couldn't wait to see him in these *amazing* blue (and brown!) Theos!

Hey, waitaminute, where's the brown? Well that's the best part of this frame (okay, 2nd best, the best is how BLUE this Theo frame makes David's eyes look!). The front of the frame is this lovely slate blue, but the top is chocolate brown!

It's always nice to find frames with personality.

David also chose to wear with the Hoya ID lens, which is a progressive lens that gives the wearer a wider field of vision. So walking up stairs won't make him feel like he's inside of some carnival trick house. Now, in his new Theo frames, he'll have a smooth look, aesthetically and functionally.

The Francis Kleins have landed!!!

The Francis Kleins have landed just in time for our FRANCIS KLEIN/IC! BERLIN trunk show, TODAY, Saturday, November 21 from 11-5 PM!

CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK!

Our CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK this week is one of the most stylish guys I know! Noah Glassberg chose some really really cool blue Swissflex frames and WOW do they look great!

Noah's dad, Kevin, also got a pretty awesome pair of Persol sunglasses!

What a cool family, Swissflex frames and Persol frames in one house?! That's what I call totally rad and super-fun.


Congrats to Noah on being our CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK and congrats to Kevin for having such a cool kid!

Vintage New? Vintage Old?

I love the look of chunky authentic Vintage Frames! We have a few select vintage frames left in our in-store stock at Eye Spy, but they won't be around long and let me tell you, when then go, I'm gonna miss them!

CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK!

This week it's all in the family with our CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK, Lael Johnson! In May, his wife, Eugenie, was named our Customer of the week for her amazing luck in finding a wonderful pair of Francis Klein sunglasses on the very day they arrived in the store.

Lael had similar luck a couple of years ago with a pair of IC Berlin glasses. The IC Berlin brand has been good to Lael and when he came in to the store for a new eye exam, he knew he wanted to stick with the durable and stylin' IC Berlin frames!

Of course, being a man of impeccable taste (he is married to Eugenie after all) Lael chose one of the newest and, if I do say so myself, awesomest IC Berlin frames in the store.

Lucky guy.

Just in case you dropped your chopstick...

I just came across a photo of IC!Berlin frames being used in a, well, creative manner. We have always told our customers how durable IC!Berlin frames are, referencing real-life incidents...such as the time a customer inadvertently got his IC!Berlin's run over by a car and the frames were not damaged at all!! But this photo just proves how useful IC!Berlin's really are....and how much extra time some people have on their hands!

So, remember...if you drop one of your chopsticks on the ground and can't find another set, just take off your IC!Berlin's, snap off the temples....and dig in. Delicious!
