*Francis Klein frames with their quirky retro shapes. Oh, yeah and the awesome birds on the walls.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
*I was blind for 4 days when I had my eyes sewn shut after eye surgery. I couldn’t even sneeze without pain. Ugh.
Who is your celebrity crush?
*The nerdy dude who plays Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds. He is super smart and I secretly love nerds.
What is your favorite food?
What do you do in your free-time?
*Gardening, yoga, hanging out with tiny humans, and designing/producing my accessory line

If you could be any sea creature what would you be?
*A narwhal. A whale unicorn, what’s not to love?

YES, we already have a wooden frame line at Eye Spy….but this one is a little different, of course!
Meet Anni Shades! A new, small line of wooden frames made in the Midwest. Ohio, to be exact.
This small company makes every frame to order, so we were able to pick out custom color inlays that peek out in between the layers of beautiful wood. In addition, they plant a tree for every pair purchased:-)
We should have our order within the next week or two, so check back for pictures of our newest collection!

Yes, I *know* you are excited for Memorial Day this weeekend…but while you are enjoying a cold one and standing over the barbeque, it’s time to start thinking about your daddio. Father’s Day is next month!
These next three weeks will fly by…and before you know it, BAM. It’s Father’s Day. If you did not take our advice and get your daddio a pair of sunglasses last year, or even if you did take our advice, your dad needs a new pair of shades! Take it from us.

We just got back from the eyewear show in New York City! Our former Display Dude, Sean, helped us pick out some beauties…and Serina did a ton of modeling. I just ate the snacks….and bought 100’s of frames!!
Because we are such great long-time customers of Anne et Valentin, we were given the opportunity to purchase their limited-edition set of four incredible OBJET series frames!! Of course, we said yes! duh.

We love the retro, large shapes that Francis Klein introduced in their 2012 collection….and we just received a portion of the order we placed last fall in Paris! Made in France, Francis Klein decorates their frames with swarovski crystals, bobbles and hand-painted decor. If you take a close look at the flowered frame, you can see one of the many the custom colors Francis Klein makes for their frames. By laminating silk fabric within the layers of the frame, they create patterns and colors that are unlike any other!
Because each frame is made-to-order, they take six to eight weeks to arrive at Eye Spy…but this also means that you can choose any color in any shape that you want! But do not worry, will will help guide you through the process…or you can just purchase one of the many custom frames that we have in-stock. Every frame looks like an art piece…so stop in and bedazzle your wardrobe!
