Every week we’ll feature a frame from our stock that one of our employees just LOVES.
Theo Stetson, available in seven colors!This week, the Optician Magician selected the THEO STETSON as her pick of the week.
The Optician Magician loves the way the “Hat Series” from Theo actually look like shields. If you look closely, you will see that the front of the frame is one continuous line with no breaks in the material.
She loves the simple, yet modern design of these frames which look different from far away than they do up close.
She also loves that the Theo Stetson has an unexpected twist in the angles and construction of the frame as well as in the small variations in the color and lens shape.
So there you have it, this week’s employee pick is the THEO STETSON.

The Specs Therapist wrote a book!
Our very own Specs Therapist (ok, me) won the 4th annual Rose Metal Press Chapbook Contest!
The book is a small collection of very short stories (all under 1000) words.

Leslie was tons of fun to help as she tried on and ultimately chose this awesome Francis Klein sunglass frame.
Many of you may know Francis Klein as the company that makes glasses with rhinestones and flowers and carving and painted details. But they also know how to tone it down just enough, when necessary.

If you’ve visited Eye Spy recently, you know that we’ve increased our selection of frames for kids. It all started when we fell head over heels for all of the new styles Lafont was creating for kids under 12 years old. We also saw a demand from our customers for more interesting and colorful kids frames.

This week our Customers of the Week are Randy and Dennis! Yay!
Randy and Dennis had been customers of Eye Spy for years! Then they moved to Santa Fe where they were regularly asked where they got their awesome glasses. “Chicago” they’d say. Well, wouldn’t you know they missed Chicago so much they moved back! One of their first stops, once they were all settled in, was to Eye Spy where we welcomed them home with open arms and awesome new frames from Anne et Valentin and Theo!!!!

Our Customer of the Week this week is Eileen!

This week we have TWO Customers of the Week!
Glen and Anne came in to the store looking for new, funky frames. We loooove when customers want to try new styles and colors. Especially when those customers look so good in so many frames!
Anne and Glen had a lot of options and it took a while to narrow down the choices. After some debate and consideration, they settled on Rapp and Anne et Valentin frames and, WOW, do they look great!
