Realcycle by Wissing

Realcycle is a new concept that was just introduced in 2022 by Wissing, a German frame designer and manufacturer. With realcycle®, Wissing set an example for more sustainability. The production of eyewear generates quite a bit of residual acetate. Wissing takes this acetate that is leftover from frame production, and reworks it into new sheets of acetate for frame production. The result: unique, one-of-a-kind spectacle frames made from 100% recycled acetate – thus closing the circle. With these fabulous frames, sustainability and design go hand-in-hand!
