Here at Eye Spy, we pride ourselves on carrying frames in the funkiest colors in town.
But, we also know that many of our customers are not quite ready for lime green frames.
So, we’d like to tell you about Special Orders.
The majority of our frames are available in six to twelve colors. We always have two or three of those colors in stock, but we have the availability of the entire repertoire of our designers at our fingertips and we are happy to order in any frame for our customers to see.
Take Anne et Valentin, for instance. This frame is gorgeous in green:
But what if you like the blue?
With a deposit of 50% of the cost of the Anne et Valentin frame, we can order your dream color so that you can try it on and make sure you like it in that particular hue. If you don’t like the frame, the deposit becomes a store credit that you can use toward another eyewear purchase.
What about Francis Klein?
Francis Klein is a small, family-owned company, like the majority of our lines. They make all of their fabulous frames with various options for decoration, including frames without any embellishment. They can also make any Francis Klein frame in *any* color from their current collection.
Yes. You can pick any Francis Klein color and they will make your favorite Francis Klein frame in your selected color. It takes 6-8 weeks (good things come to those who wait!), but at the end of that short little 2-month gestation, you will have a
one-of-a-kind frame. Marvelous.

Each eyewear line has their own protocol regarding special orders. Here at Eye Spy, we know most every frame in stock, as well as the various color and design options for these frames, like the backs of our hands. In addition, most of our designers have online catalogs that we will gladly peruse with you in order to find that perfect marriage of style and color. We can’t wait to help you find or create your perfect pair of simply spectacular specs!!
We are giddy with anticipation for our trunk shows every Saturday in November which will feature all of the new frames from our favorite lines! Hundreds of new frames, in every style and color imaginable…we’re getting dizzy just thinking about it!
