Our Customer of the Week is Chris!
The Opticianista did a great job helping Chris pick out some new frames. He fell in love with both pairs of glasses and couldn’t choose, so he bought both! The Lafont frames below are slightly on the conservative side…
while the Anne et Valentin’s are a little more on the wild side. We love that they are so dramatically different, but still both look amazing on Chris.

Our Customer of the Week is Pam!
Excitement is in the air in the windy city with the weather being unnaturally warm and sunny these past few weeks. Sunglasses are a perfect solution against harmful UV rays and discomfort from the blinding sunlight. Pam was excited to get her prescription in the brown and blue Anne et Valentin Solo frames. We recommended polarized lenses to give her crystal-clear vision and to eliminate glare. Pam looks glamorous in her new sunglasses and her peepers are protected!!!

Our Customer of the Week is Martise!
Martise was overwhelmed on his first visit at Eye Spy. He was tired of constantly finding similar shapes and muted colors at other opticals. We love the aviator Wonderglasses he chose which were inspired by the color of a post-it note! He also chose a pair of chunky black Theos with bold white graphics…and a pair of geranium red and black Theos that are not pictured.

Our
Customer of the Week is Judy!!!
Judy came in looking for a subtle frame, but still wanted a little edginess. These Anne et Valentin frames rocked her socks off. She tried these glasses first and could not imagine her life without them. The translucent blush color is subtle but looks beautiful against her skin tone.
This model is from the “Factory” line which is inspired by the Factory studio created by Andy Warhol in the 60s in New York. Factory frames are designed and manufactured in France using a process different from any other. Each frame in the Factory collection is finished and polished, then buffed or roughed to create a partially unfinished look. Some areas are polished smooth, while others have a matte or slightly rough texture. Zamac, which is a hypo-allergenic material, was used for hinges and the temple tip detail.

WHOO! It’s that time again! What time? Time to crown a new CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK!
This week, we chose DAVID!
David already had two frames from Eye Spy when he stopped in to check out some new styles. Lucky for him we had a gaggle of Theo Frames in the store and couldn’t wait to see him in these *amazing* blue (and brown!) Theos!
Hey, waitaminute, where’s the brown? Well that’s the best part of this frame (okay, 2nd best, the best is how BLUE this Theo frame makes David’s eyes look!). The front of the frame is this lovely slate blue, but the top is chocolate brown!
It’s always nice to find frames with personality.David also chose to wear with the Hoya ID lens, which is a progressive lens that gives the wearer a wider field of vision. So walking up stairs won’t make him feel like he’s inside of some carnival trick house. Now, in his new Theo frames, he’ll have a smooth look, aesthetically and functionally.
Way to go David! You’re our CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK!

We love our Theos!
It’s the perfect line to have in the store during our Makeover Party! Why? Well, let me tell you: When we tell you it’s makeover time, we don’t mean we want to change your look to the point that even your mother wouldn’t recognize you. No no no. We want your frames to highlight your already awesome features and we want them express another side of you that doesn’t get out very often. What better way to do that than with a funky pair of Theos?!
I know you’re asking and scratching your head about one thing: What in the world is a “trunk show?”
I’ll tell you, but you may need to sit down to absorb all of this awesomeness: A Trunk Show is when the representative from the company brings the entire collection into the store! You can try on any shape in any color…and every frame comes in 8 colors!! The representatives travel all over the country (and Canada!) so we really like to make the most of it when they’re in town.
