The fabulous Melissa Yen of Jo Snow will also be joining us for the market, serving up specialty snow cones to keep you cool! So make sure you stop by and get a treat!

Get Your Boogie On…AGAIN!!!
Join Eye Spy Optical on Thursday, July 21 for Lakeview Live Concerts on the Curb!
Iris the Airstream had a wonderful time at the June concert! She will be on vacaction in Wisconsin this year, but we will still have plenty of eyewear and sunglasses:-)
This fabulous event is being hosted by the Lakeveiw Chamber of Commerce, Chicago Music Exchange and Lagunitas Brewing Company and businesses up and down the block will be gettin’ their groove on to celebrate with sidewalk sales, pop-ups etc!
The bands were great and there were tons of activities for the kiddos – including a GIANT Connect 4 board that you have to see to believe!
And there was beer! Did we mention the beer? Lagunitas was pouring some of their best and most delicious beverages. You definitely won’t want to miss out on that!
AND again….since Iris’s favorite season is summer, we will be giving all of our lovely customers 10% off any sunglasses purchase during the concert!

Who’s Playin’?
When are they Playin’? Thursday July 21st. Things will get started at 5:30pm and will wrap up at 8:30pm.
Where are they Playin’? The band will be set up at the corner of Paulina and Lincoln Ave, but there will be fun stuff going on up and down the street!
Could it possibly be free? YES!!!! The concert is free to any and all who get their butts on down here!
Where are my dancin’ shoes? I don’t know…but you better find them!

Iris the Airstream was cooped up all winter and is so excited to get out and show off that she has been gettin’ around town this summer (yes, it really IS summer!) as part of our Pop-Up shop.
You may have seen her chillin’ in front of the store during our Theo Trunk show. She LOVES ice cream and gelato and sampled some local sweet treats at spots like Black Dog Gelato and Bobtail in June. She also made her way over to the Lincoln Square Farmers Market and all the way down to Modern Cooperative in Pilsen.
Iris still has big plans for the summer. In August she’ll be poppin-up at Coyle+Herr on the 13th, Humboldt House on the 15th, Sprout Home on the 28th, and Randolph Street Market on the 30th. In September she will be at Modern Cooperative on the 11th and on the 18th you will find her visiting her friends at the Chicago Mosaic School for the the Ravenswood Art Walk.
Stop by, say hi, get a tour and try on some spectacular frames!!!! We always have treats and drinks for visitors:-)

We have a bunch of pop-ups scheduled for this month! Are you excited?? Here’s the scoop…
The next one is : Friday, July 11 in Pilsen at Modern Co-op during 2nd Fridays from 6-10pm.
Modern Co-op is having a kicking off event for a new design collection by Chicago-based Brass And Bark…and we are joining in the fun with our frames and sunnies:-)
The next pop-up is…on Friday, July 18th, the Chicago Mosiac School. They are having a Vernissage from 6-9pm! The head of the school is a big fan of Eye Spy and we are a big fan of mosaics:-)
The school is located in a loft building near the Irving Park Brown line stop. It is on the second floor and we will be near the main entrance…hopefully!! The have an incredible showcase of mosaics by artists from around the world on display.
