“Like” us and Give Sight

In the holiday spirit of giving  we are going to donate 50 cents for every new LIKE  we get on our Facebook to Optometry Giving Sight! 

Did you know Optometry Giving Sight is the only global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error? There are at least 670 million people around the world that are blind or vision impaired simply because they do not have access to the eye exam and glasses that they need.

Optometry Giving Sight funds the solution by supporting programs that deliver:

• Vision Care – eye exams, low-cost eye glasses and low-vision devices
• Training – of optometrists, eye care personnel and their teachers
• Infrastructure development – establishment and support of vision centers, eye clinics and schools of optometry
