Congrats to Laura….again!
Although Laura was a Customer of the Week in February of 2013, we could not pass up snapping a shot of her in her new Thierry Lasry cat-eye sunglasses…and fabulous kitty-cat bag, complete with sticking-up ears!!
The Thierry Lasry sunnies have abalone shell accents on either side. The frame is called Slutty, but we are hoping Laura knows how to control herself;-)
While Laura was trying to decide whether or not these sunglasses would fit into her budget, we made a business proposal to her: create an illustration for us to use with our Rainbow Scavenger Hunt. She accepted….and got the sunnies!
Here is our scavenger hunt card….with the awesome illustration of the eye spy girl and her cat, that Laura drew for us:-)

Proud to announce our newest Customer of the Week: Laura!
Laura holds a special place in my heart because she’s a fellow New Yorker. Laura’s subtle sass and sharp wit (authentic New Yorker traits) were perfectly complimented by the frames she chose. First up: The “Amy” frames by Rapp . This frame kind of called out to her, with the understated nude pink color and the edgy-ness of the brushed metal temples.
Next was the Anne et Valentin “Octet” frame. At first she questioned whether these frames were just “too much”. But I said “You’re a New Yorker…you can wear whatever you want.”
Finally, the cherry on top were the Thierry Lasry “Tipsy” sunglasses. We didn’t get to snap a picture of Laura wearing these glamrock frames, but I can assure you she looks like a badass.

Introducing Laura, our customer of the week! She is loving her new Thierry Lasry Supremacy frame. Laura came in wanting something big, bold and different…so, we popped the sun lenses out of these Thierry Lasry sunglasses and BAM! A perfect match! 
They fit Laura’s sweet sense of style and lovely personality Wondering why she looks familiar? Well Laura is a local artist who is a pretty baller cartoonist! (HOW COOL!) Check out some of her work. We might have a small friend crush on her and her work…
